Terms and conditions

1. Purpose

These terms govern the private hire (VTC) transport services booked on this website from Aurel Driver, operated by MARIAM AUTO (SIRET 94444847100010).

2. Prior booking

In accordance with French law, every ride is booked in advance. The booking is final once payment is confirmed; a confirmation email is sent to you immediately. We then assign a professional driver: their name and vehicle are sent to you at the latest 24 hours before pick-up (at the latest 2 hours after booking if it is made less than 24 hours ahead). If we cannot assign a driver, the booking is cancelled and refunded in full, free of charge.

3. Prices

The price shown before booking is final and includes tolls. Prices include VAT (10 %). A night surcharge of 15 % applies between 22:00 and 06:00. Options (child seat, meet & greet) are shown separately.

3a. Chauffeur hire

Chauffeur hire must be booked at least 12 hours in advance, as a half day (4 h, 80 km included), a full day (8 h, 150 km included) or by the hour (minimum 2 h, 20 km included per hour). The price covers the duration and kilometres included in the chosen package. Extra kilometres are charged at the per-km rate of the chosen class, based on the vehicle’s odometer, and added to the balance. Extending the booked duration is only possible with the driver’s agreement and is charged at the class’s hourly rate.

4. Payment

The full price of the ride is paid online by card when booking (secure payment by Stripe). No payment is requested on board, apart from any extras set out in article 3a or agreed on the spot. Bookings made before the change of terms remain governed by the terms in force when they were made (online deposit and balance on board).

5. Cancellation

100 % of the amount paid is refunded for a cancellation at least 24 hours before pick-up; 50 % of the amount paid is refunded for a cancellation at least 2 hours before pick-up; less than 2 hours before pick-up, or in case of no-show, no refund applies. Refunds are made automatically to the card used, with no fees deducted, within 5 to 10 days. If we cannot operate the ride, the full amount paid is refunded.

6. Waiting time

Free waiting: 60 minutes after landing for airport pick-ups (the flight is tracked), 15 minutes for other addresses. Beyond that, waiting time may be charged after agreement.

7. Passengers' obligations

Seat belts are mandatory. Children must travel in an appropriate seat (to be requested at booking). Smoking and consuming alcohol are not allowed on board.

8. Disputes

Complaints: mariam.auto@gmail.com. In case of a dispute, consumers may refer the matter free of charge to a consumer mediator. French law applies.
